Back from Bishie Con

Tue Nov 24, 2009, 6:31 AM
  • Mood: Approval
  • Listening to: L33tstr33t B0ys
  • Reading: Selfish Mr. Mermaid vol 2
  • Watching: Ronin Warriors and Hetalia
  • Playing: Pokemon Platinum ftw
  • Eating: crackers
  • Drinking: Peppermint Green Tea
So, Bishie Con was pretty cool. No joke. There was some drama here and there with obnoxious people, but you get that at every con.

I cosplayed Canada for the most part (that costume is so freaking hot! I almost died!). There were actually fewer Hetalia cosplayers than I thought. There was seriously only one England which was :iconkittykatmage:, one actual America :iconninja-america: (I say actual because the only other one was "fem-america" who just threw on a long blonde wig and bought a bomber-like jacket from Wal*Mart). We ran int a single Lithuania who was done by none other than :iconxchibichibi: and Poland who was rocked by :iconmadame-oshare:. There were two Fances, one that I wanted to Sparta-kick (term by :iconsorathecrimson: who was also our Romano and Syoaron) because she seriously kept grabbing my ass, her fingers barely missing my crack and it was making me very angry. She was told to stop and she definitely didn't. There were two Russias, only one was good because I'm fairly sure that, unlike the small group of insane/closet cosplayers, she actually red the webcomic and knew a lot more about the character. There was also another Canada there, but she was only wearing the red hoodie (no leaf), jeans and tennis shoes. She didn't even have a curl. She was a cute Canada, no doubt, just a closet version. She didn't bother me so much as the "Fem-America", the super perv France, the purple haired Russia and (no joke) the closet-cosplayed Cuba.

There was also a group of young girls, ages between 15 and 16 I think. They had some of the best Hetalia cosplays that I have seen (nothing compared to the girls at NatsuCon, but still amazing). There was a Germay who was 6'1" and also played Yuki from Gravitation. She could definitely keep the straight face, seriousness of Germany when I certain Fai wasn't around. There was also a cute Japan who actually spoke some Japanese when she introduced herself, an Italy who was pretty cute as well and a China. They had a nice little group going. They were an exceptionally good group. Especially during their Gravitation cosplays.

Actually, all of the Hetalia people had banned together and entered the karaoke contest and sang a song from Mulan. ("I'll make you into a man" I think is the title, if not, I know that is a line from the song) We won best ensemble. X3

There was some drama which caused me to miss my ball-jointed doll panel but I avoided a situation that could have gone south quick, so I won't complain too much. I even discovered my serious urge to want to Cosplay Marluxia from Kingdom Hearts. I bought a pink wig that is perfect for him as well as a baseball styled shirt with his name and number on it. I really need to get a cloak and the beads. I have everything else for the cosplay its self except for those two things.

Let's see, what else did we do? We went to the rave which was fun until some girls and guys started stripping and a girl in her twenties gave the 15-year-old Geremany a lap dance. We left around that time. We also saw the movie "Boy's Love" which is live action. DO NOT WATCH IT! It so freaking sad! Everyone in the viewing room was screaming at the screen because we did not want! Anyway! I won a parasol that has a picture of two bishies hugging on it for $7 which was awesome. I got a Yaoi Press managa called "Stallion" that was signed by Studio Kosen. I even came across a Level-C dvd and almost freaked out (totally bought it). I bought a Hetalia t-shirt which looks pretty cool and I got a shirt that has the Kanji for "Uke" on it. X3

It was a pretty good con and the next one is going to have a Hetalia theme which is pretty awesome. We'll just have to see how things go becuase Katrina was stepping on a few people's toes the whole weekend, as nice as she is.

Anyway, I think that's it.
It was great to see all of the following <3
:iconxchibichibi: :iconmadame-oshare: :iconsorathecrimson: :iconkittykatmage: and :iconninja-america: (even though I hang out with the last two more often than not X3)

"Here I am
And within the reach of my hands
She sounds asleep and she's sweeter now
Than the wildest dream could have seen her
And I Watch her slipping away
Though I know I'll be hunting high and low"
:iconpossessed-puppet:
All of my dolls are from BJD sites like eluts.com and bobobie.com
I only wish I could make them myself.
They do stay in my house and sleep in my room as well. I could never be scared of them because I love them so much.

And thank you~
Dolls are so much easier to deal with rather than real people when it comes to photography.
:iconem-87:
haha yes dolls are easier to deal with in photography than humans or should i say animals since ive been trying to take photos of my turtle lol XD hehe
I think i can make a doll so be sure to watch out for my deviation :)
